First Log

I can't believe I waited this long to begin studying for the GMAT. I was so sure I'd have already scored a >660 score by now this year. Now I feel like I have to do a course to get that kind of score in the timeframe I set for myself.
Honestly, as long as at the end of it all I get the score I want, it's all good.
So the new gameplan I came up with just this weekend looks like this: prepare packages for recommenders, then land them, prepare applications in their entirety (re-work last year's essays that got me scholarships etc etc), kill the GMAT, collect recommendations, tailor (if necessary) for each bschool, submit applications early.

My course doesn't start until 09/04, so I'm doing all the non-GMAT work now...all that'll be left really is the exam. Hoping to be finished with the entire process by the end of October. Then visit schools etc etc.

I was hoping to visit the schools before applying this year, but I'm sure they're schools I'll go to if (when?) admitted. Visiting will help me pick a fav out of the very small bunch. Only because I've applied before and been admitted, can I narrow my list of schools down so very much. Ya live n learn...or you try to, right?

Next week we'll see how much further along I've gotten...
