The high of getting into a top MBA program didn't last very long for me. I quickly had to come back to reality and fill out alot of very detailed financial aid forms.
There were no fellowship applications (non-Finance gal here) that I had to fill out. But I had to hear about a lot of them. Seriously, there are lots of fellowships out there for Finance students, and it's enough to make a sister wonder if maybe a Finance concentration isn't so bad an idea after all.
I also had to really start studying for my quant (preparation) class, train for my upcoming running event and try not to get too screwed as I try to buy my first home. Fortunately, CBS students are awesome and answer every burning question I have which helps a good deal.
So, may all of us admits land as much free money as possible. Waitlist peeps, stay up!
(Say, anyone know how buying this home will affect my financial aid situation now? I think that as I type, my case is being reviewed in the Fin Aid office and I wasn't in the process of buying when I submitted the forms)
