Happy New Year, people. This entry is entitled "the re-mix" because that is exactly what this semester feels like: first semester all over again. Sure, I have different classes and a new schedule, but it's the same craziness again. What do I mean by craziness? I'm referring to the fact that classes have started and I started interviewing 2 days after the start of classes. That, my friends, is total craziness.
On one hand, I feel guilty that I can't be a good student: I can't prepare for classes and am struggling to get assignments done on time. On the other hand, I know the main reason I'm here and realize I need a j.o.b. for the summer. That, for me, is my current main priority. So be it if I have to play catch-up once I am all set on that end.
Apart from this daily conflict, it is great to see all my classmates and members of BBSA again. We're all looking forward to a great semester. And I know that the bankers and finance jocks, because their wave of interviews is over, are already having a good semester. I can't wait to join in.
Winter break was awesome! And just for the record: I highly recommend month-long vacations. Good for the body, mind and spirit, y'all.
