Post Exam?

I kind of bombed on the GMAT. I got the same score as before. Except my quant score was higher and my verbal had dropped a little. Same ole score. So what's a determined girl to do? Well, figure out how important it is for her to have a higher score, and whether she honestly believes she can do better. That's my advice to any one that finds themselves in that predicament.

Wharton, Columbia and Yale are the schools to which I'm applying and I really can raise my quant score even more. The good folk at Wharton have said that I'd really want the quant score to be at least in the 70th %ile. Based on how I've done on the GMAT (and what I know of myself), I can easily maintain my verbal score...but definitely need to raise that quant score a little. And that, I've figured, is do-able for moi.

My visit to Wharton on the last Prospective Day was well worth the trip. I didn't make it until evening, and yet still it was all well worth the drive out there from NY. I think Wharton's a great choice for me because of the core curriculum, the teaching methods and the Mktg curriculum. Phillie's a heck of a city, and this is coming from a NY chica. (Yes, I had the cheese steak from Lee's; I'm still trying to get over it). I figure I had the NY experience for my undergrad, and maybe a cozier city might be sweet.

I'll not be visiting Columbia (officially) until Dec. 6th. I'll post my overall impression then. Stay up!
