Getting Back Into the Swing...

of things. Olin's Spring '04 Mini B began on March 23, as I was trying to overcome the jetlag from my return trip from India. As you can imagine, the first weekend back was spent sleeping, sleeping, sleeping. Did I mention sleeping?

In the little "spare" time I had that weekend, I decided to trek down to the university bookstore to purchase my course packs. No, the desire to begin another term was nowhere to be found. I, along with scores of other students who traveled to India, the Baltics, Southeast Asia, and England and France, were pretty much out of it.

So classes began. Full menu of pricing, marketing channels, competitive industry analysis (semester-long), international marketing, brand management & compensation and incentives (weekend-long). Trying to keep all the deliverables from all the classes straight was a bit of a challenge. Thank God that I have the same study group for international marketing, brand and channels, or else things would be very hairy.

Well, this afternoon is the Global Management Studies symposium, which officially concludes our GMS India course. The four GMS courses will make a final presentation and the GMS 2005 courses will be announced.

I haven't forgotten about my promise to fill you in on the details from my India trip, but I've got to run to a meeting.
