It's finally finished

At long last, I've finally made it to the end of the first quarter here at Stanford. It was a rough ride, but I was ecstatic to finish my last exam in Statistics on Thursday. All three of the finals that I took this week were monsters and I don't know how I got through them, but they are now behind me. I've gotten two of my grades back and I surprised myself by doing OK on those classes, one of which included Econ. Since finishing exams, I've been taking care of smaller errands like running people to the airport, cleaning my room, and hanging out with some of the few classmates who are still around. Now, it has gotten to the time for me to go back to VA...thank goodness. I have loved this first quarter, but I've been homesick since September and I'm ready to see my mother and the rest of my family and friends back on the east coast. My flight is tomorrow morning and I'll be there for a little less than three weeks, so I'll have some decent time to be back in "my regular world" before having to come back and re-enter the MBA world. Whew, I never knew that so much could go on in just a few months.

Hi Marquis - good luck on the rest of the exams.

This would probably be better asked in an email, but i couldnt' find one on your site.

in an earlier post you said: "I thought my undergrad GPA and lack of business/management work experience would be weaknesses" - I was wondering what your GPA/GMAT scores were? Did a high Gmat compensate for lower GPA?

If you can find the time, send an email to the address above.

Thanks for sharing your experiences
