Sorry about the delay in the last post people. Silly me I posted the entry but forgot to change the status from ‘draft’ to ‘publish’. See what lack of sleep will do to you? I’ve basically realized that the amount of work is constant if not increasing, these last few weeks I’ve been saying to myself, ‘If I can just get past this week, I’ll be good’ but then the next week is just as bad. So what I think is that the amount of work doesn’t change but your attitude towards it changes. Once you accept that there will always be a lot to do, you learn how to deal with it and function more efficiently. If any of you guys have gone through a process, you know what I’m talking about. The process never gets easier, your mindset just adapts to it. So I’m in the process of doing that.
I’m still in countdown mode, my cast comes off 2 weeks from Monday! I think I’ll be doing back flips that final week. ;-) Ok, maybe not back flips but I’ll be happy as hell.
Hey, before I forget I want to invite everyone to Columbia’s 22nd Black Business Student Association Annual Conference and Gala Celebration which will take - Friday, November 21st. This years theme is “The Leader Within”, go to http://www.columbiabbsa.org for more information.
The information that I’ve been able to get about the media and entertainment industry has been great. I’ve had the opportunity to speak to people at some companies that I would definitely be interested in companies like, MTV, VP records, and Universal Music and I've gotten some great information and insight.
I think one of the best things about being in school is the opportunity to explore new arenas and to do the things that you never thought were possible before.
Okay, I have to run, of course I have more work to do.

Hi Shadan!
Are you in the middle of mid-terms? What has been happening lately in Columbia? That's one of the schools I'm considering, so please keep your entries coming! We definitely read them!
