Summer Vacation

Hey people,

I hope everyone is doing well. I'll start by asking you guys to pray for my family, my sister was recently diagnosed with Hodgkins disease, so it's been a stressful time. I found out right before I went into finals and have been struggling with it. She's scheduled to start chemotherapy on Friday.

I really can't believe the year I've had. When I go back and read these entries its a mixture of laughter and tears. Through it all though I'm thankful for the blessings. Its definitely been a struggle but each hardship is mental preparation and training for the next harder one. So although this has been the most difficult thing so far I think I'm more prepared to deal with it.

Can it already be over? I mean wow, one more final and then that's it. I'm officially a second year. Ok, first things first. A little update since my last post.

The Summer Internship is in Full effect :) I'll be at Redken, a division of L'Oreal that deals with Professional hair care, women probably already knew this, I'm sure the men didn't. I'll be doing Global Marketing, my dream job. At a great company with beautiful women, and well let's just say minimal competition :) Yeah man, it should be a great summer.

Kanye West and De La Soul came to campus this past Saturday, man I don't think I've ever been to a free concert. It was great, I was on the side of the stage and had a great view, got some pics of kanye that I'll post later.

De La, represented to the fullest. They had the crowd going crazy, and then to top it off they brought out Dres from Black Sheep...yeah man it was a good time.

Ah well, I'm off to study for my last final...shout out to my people at Wharton who are doing their thing and fininshing up. Blaze, I'm glad the lead on the apt worked out for you, Denyse, Michelle, Aisha,Dru, Greg, do your thing!
